Hello, friends!
At the beginning of this year, I had the honor of presenting my solo exhibition “TURNING POINT” in Plovdiv, as part of my eponymous art project.
The inspiration behind the art project “TURNING POINT” is my desire to highlight those important moments in our lives, the choices we make and how they can change can determine our future.
I have always loved nature—
As a student at MG Baba Tonka in Ruse, I participated in an Ornithology club.
Then we ringed birds and studied their migrations and habitats.
When I started dealing with Art, I discovered that my paintings are messages from our Planet.
When I paint – I use the power of Water and Gravity and it’s as if the Planet itself guides the process and paints its messages.
The symbolism, abstract shapes and energetic colors in the paintings can inspire the viewer to think about their own path and their relationship with Planet Earth.
One of the special moments in the project was my collaboration with the RIOSV and the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds (BSPS).
Together we organized a charity auction, we decided to direct the funds from the auction to an extremely meaningful cause – creating houses for the feathered cuckoo – a species protected throughout the country, listed in the “Vulnerable” category of the Red Book of the Republic of Bulgaria, which needs support and safe sockets.
At a charity auction, the painting “The braid of life” was sold
This is an Abstract painting showing the many threads, paths and decisions that define our lives.
The main decision is: to leave a clean Nature for our children.
The auction was successful.
Apart from the sale of the picture, my friends also donated funds completely free of charge. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
BGN 780 was collected, which I donated to the BDZP. With these funds, students from the Technical School of Woodworking made beautiful houses for the birds.
To be continued…
