As I mentioned before, I painted a picture on commission for an anniversary. As you know, I paint abstract paintings, and it’s very difficult for me to fit into any frames and work on commission. That’s why it’s hard for me to judge what to draw for a particular person. I need to get to know them to find inspiration for the painting.
For this painting… At first, I had no idea or feeling what it would be. What does the anniversary person like, what could inspire a painting? Then I was told about the gift his brother will give him for his birthday – something so powerful and inspiring that I actually felt the painting.
It’s about two brothers who have consistently supported each other over the years. No matter how difficult it is for one of them, the other is there for him. For his birthday, the younger brother bought tickets for his dad’s favorite team match – Liverpool, but the gift is not just a ticket. The gift is the unique experience of going together to England to watch a Liverpool match. Isn’t that inspiring? The gift is actually care, support, and brotherly love!
Here’s something worth painting! And do you know what impressed me even more? In the emblem of the football club, there’s a phrase: You’ll never walk alone. That’s how something ordinary can inspire a painting!
