On Saturday 02/03/2024 at the Plovdiv Cultural Institute at the exhibition RETURN POINT
- We have drawn the winner in the RAFFLE. Magdalena won the wonderful “Scent of Lavender” art print on canvas.
On 11.02.2024 at 16.00 will be the delivery.
- We talked about Abstract Art, Nature, our relationship with the Earth. We found meanings and messages and it was fun
- WE REORDERED THE UNIVERSE. We all made a collage together, in which everyone arranged the art and the Messages in their own way. The result was a beautiful collage representing the exhibition TURNING POINT
What’s ahead:
The exhibition answers questions related to our hectic everyday life, the Elements, our relationship with Nature and planet Earth.
Precisely for this reason, it is completely logical that it ends with a CHARITY AUCTION for the cause of ECOLOGY.
The painting “THE BRAIDED OF LIFE”, appearing in the Exhibition, will be offered for auction.
The proceeds from the sale of the painting…. will be donated to support the conservation activities of the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds. Nesting houses will be purchased for the feather-legged cuckoo – a species protected throughout the country, listed in the “Vulnerable” category of the Red Book of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The feather-legged cuckoo inhabits mainly coniferous and mixed forests, but also occurs in broad-leaved forests. It is considered an indicator species for the condition of old forests – the presence of the species is an indicator of a healthy ecosystem. The cottages will be placed in the Western Rhodopes – the area of Belocherkovski hill, which falls partly into a protected area under the “Rhodope-Western” Habitats Directive.
